The Hodges Collection consists of over 600 items dominated by carvings from Sierra Leone. It also includes pieces from Liberia, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, and other West African countries. Many of the artworks were used in traditional African ceremonies while others were acquired for their creativity, style, and aesthetic merits.
